The PATmicro GPS Dog or Cat Tracker measures just 45mm x 34mm x 21mm and weighs just 25g.
There are two buttons on the right hand side, one is the on/off button and the other is what we refer to as an SOS button. If for any reason the owner wants to summon help when out with the family dog one press of this button will send an SOS alert to the registered mobile phone together with location details.
The 300m 'Zone' can be activated by pressing both buttons - if the PATmicro moves outside this area it will send a text message to the registered mobile, with the location.
The larger cover on the left side is where the charger plugs in and the slot for the SIM card.
On the back is a small loop to attach the device to a key ring for example, making the device not just suitable for keeping track of pets, but many other applications, children, lone workers, elderly, cycles, plant, machinery, quad bikes - the list goes on.
