Blog & RSS Feeds
We have set up our very own Lost and Found Pet Blog.
What is a "blog"?
"Blog" is an abbreviation of "weblog", which is a term used to describe web sites that maintain an ongoing chronicle of information. It is frequently updated and carries links to other related sites - sometimes called 'blogrolls'.
We aim to get PawTrax cross referenced with as many other related sites as we possibly can. This will not only increase our rankings in the search engines but more importantly inform as many people about a lost or found pet. There are in excess of 7000 blogs in the UK alone.
We want this blog to be an interactive element of our site,so please drop by and make comments, post information etc. The blog will also allow us to generate RSS feeds to other sites (see below)
The PawTrax blog site will be used to generate a 'latest news' listing of all lost and found pets. The RSS feed will be made available to anyone who has a website and wants to use this information. This will enable us to 'get the information out there'. For an example of a live RSS feed see www.thepethealthportal.com. There are two live feeds in the right hand column. To syndicate our RSS Feed on your site please use this link - http://www.pawtrax.co.uk/blog/?feed=rss2&cat=4,1
