Following the successful launch of The-PAT (PawTrax Animal Tracker) - our GPS Tracking device for Dogs, we would like to introduce to our cat owning supporters -

THE PAT 4 CAT's Tracker/Logger

Find out where you cat likes to go and where he spends his time

Knowing your cat's habits and the scope of its territory will give you a significant advantage to finding it should it go missing.

What is THE PAT 4 CAT's?

This amazing tiny device carries a lot of high technology inside and measures just 44mm x 27mm x 18mm and weighs only 22 gramms

  • It contains a Sirf III GPS Receiver, patch antenna, Li-Ion rechargeable battery (230mAh), memory for storing position information and USB interface.
  • It can automatically record up to 64,000 positions.
  • Battery will last approx 60 hours if a position is recorded every 30 seconds.
  • This time interval is user configurable.
  • It has 2 LED lights to show the device status and operation.
  • The lights can be disabled so that the GPS device will draw no attention when mounted to a cat.
  • The device enclosure is water proof.
  • The device comes with a silicon rubber frame that allows the mounting to a harness and provides additional shock protection.

Just fit the mini logger to your cats collar or harness and it will automatically record your cats movements/location.

We can supply a suitable harness if required.
We suggest using a harness in preference to a collar. It will enable the device to always point skywards and is also more secure and comfortable for your cat.

(Please note it is the owner’s responsibility to ensure the harness or collar is fitted correctly and your cat is comfortable wearing both it and the PAT4CATS – we accept no liability for damage or injury)

You then download the position to Google Earth via the USB port and view exactly where you cat has been on its travels.


Just plug the logger into your PC and using the supplied software download the recorded positions to Google Earth or similar.

The recorded positions will be plotted onto the map.

If your cat should ever go missing or not return home at anytime you will have some idea where to start looking.

Please note: the mini-logger will not send a live location to your phone or internet in the same way that The-PAT does. The logger only carries a GPS module and not a GSM/GPRS module. Even with today's technology the GSM/GPRS modules are too large for a cat sized device and require larger batteries.

However if your cat has been tracked using the logger for a few days you will soon build up a location history on Google Earth of his movements, where he spends his time and favourite places etc.
